What is gold vermeil

Gold vermeil is a premium plating technique where sterling silver is coated in a thick layer of gold. Unlike standard gold plating, vermeil requires a substantially heavier gold layer. We plate all our vermeil jewellery with at least 3 microns of 18ct gold, creating a rich, high-quality finish designed to last and be worn and loved for years.

Can I wear my jewellery every day?

Absolutely. Our pieces are designed to be lived in and loved daily. Removing jewellery before sleeping, exercising, or exposure to water and chemicals will help preserve its finish and extend its lifespan, especially for vermeil pieces.

Delivery

erJ jewellery is designed and made in London in small batches and held ready for quick dispatch. Orders placed Monday to Friday are dispatched within 48 hours.

Custom ring sizes are made to order and require up to one week before dispatch.

All orders are sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery, with tracking provided. Shipping is free on all orders and available exclusively within the UK.

Chains

The chains used for our necklaces are the only element we don’t craft in-house. They are expertly made in Italy from recycled sterling silver, chosen for its quality, strength, and finish. The workshop we partner with follows strict ethical standards, ensuring responsible practices for both its artisans and the environment.

Is your jewellery suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes, all our jewellery is made from high-quality precious metals, including sterling silver and gold vermeil. These materials are widely known for being suitable for sensitive skin, and we never use base metals such as brass or nickel in our pieces.

Returns

If your piece isn’t quite right, you have 30 days from delivery to return it, provided it is unworn and in its original condition.

Warranty

All erJ jewellery comes with a 3-year warranty covering manufacturing faults, along with a lifetime repair service. Jewellery is made to be worn and enjoyed, if something doesn’t feel right, simply get in touch and we’ll help.
